The Lady of the Light

On this first night of Chanukah, we have a drawing of the Lady of the Light.
Below is her story.
And how she might be an illuminating force in your world.
You can download her here: https://bit.ly/3m77K1l

She will be available until the first of the year.
If you would like to see what else the Society of Finders has to offer, please check out our Finding Boxes.

Picture
!She was found in the night sky.
Dancing.
Hidden amongst the stars.
Until.
The swing of her hips outshined them all.
And to our vision she was fully brought.
The Lady of the Light.

The dark had settled in around us.
I had felt as if I was under it all.
Hoping.
Waiting.
For something to reach toward.
To pull me from my own grasp.
And guide me to the breaking of the fortress that I had built around me.
While I can only speak for mySelf, I suspect these sentiments were true for all that gathered that fateful eve.

She was, at first, just a glimmer.
Possible to be confused for a shooting star.
But as she twirled, she took up the sky...and could not be mistaken for anything else than the Lady of the Light.

Though she was not the brightness of day, she did not need to be.
She was enough.
To melt the wax that had kept me sealed and away.
She was enough.
To give me something to reach for.

This piece within me.
That had felt shadowed.
Hidden.
A small seed just out of my view.
Was suddenly clear and visible.
I could see what it needed.
What I needed.
I knew what steps were to be taken.

She flitted above us for some time.
Shining her brilliance across the heavens.
Then she was gone.
And we were no longer waiting.
We had been found.
We were better for it.

Now, when I find mySelf yearning for something to reach for.
I draw her form.
I sit with it.
I ask it for what I need.
And I remember that night, all those moons ago.
I feel the spaces within me, ready to be seen.
Waiting to be found.
In my mind’s eye, I imagine her light.
I allow it to find those spaces within me.
She illuminates the world of my being just enough.
Enough to show me the way.
Enough to show me what I need.
You may wish to do the same and discover what is to be found.

Use this image for your personal explorations.
She is yours, though she is not to be sold.
The image makes wonderful wallpaper for your devices.
Or you may wish to print her out and let it adorn your world.
Whatever you do, her light will reach you.

Happy Chanukah!
