I cannot make it all better.
I cannot untangle you from the worry you carry in your eyes and crown.
I cannot keep you safe from the tumblings of the world.
Even if I want to, with all my might.
I can, though, offer you this:
Call your Self back.
From the lost lands you find your Self in.
From a future that hasn’t been yet cast.
Call your Self into body. Into your being.
Let life happen from within you and bloom outward toward it all, rooted in sanctuary.
I can offer you this:
Stay with your Self.
The temptation to move far out into swirls that have not yet happened is great.
But listen.
The fullness of your being lives beyond the tongue and into the truth.
Hold it all close. The fears, the rumbles, the ecstatic whispering of life.
It’s all you.
I can offer you this:
An invocation…
You are a creature rising.
Let the tendrils of your roots anchor to the depths below it all.
Become it all.
I cannot untangle you from the worry you carry in your eyes and crown.
I cannot keep you safe from the tumblings of the world.
Even if I want to, with all my might.
